calo.lat uses a small number of browser cookies for account security and, with permission, public-page advertising.

- The calo.sid cookie maintains the encrypted session reference used for login, flash messages and CSRF protection. It is HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production.
- Essential cookies are required for secure forms and account features and are not used to build advertising profiles.
Advertising choice
- When Google AdSense is configured, advertising scripts load only after a visitor selects Accept ads.
- The ad_consent cookie remembers accepted or rejected for up to one year. Rejecting does not prevent calculator use or account access.
- Google may use cookies or similar storage to deliver, limit and measure ads according to its own policies and the consent signals it receives.
Changing your choice
- Delete the ad_consent cookie in browser settings to make the choice appear again. Browser settings can also block or clear cookies, though blocking essential cookies may stop forms and login from working.
